This special issue is open to all ECQT 2026 participants. In particular:

• Any participant may submit a paper, whether or not they delivered a talk.
• Speakers may submit a paper that differs from their conference presentation.

Submission and review

Papers submitted for this special volume should make a significant contribution in queueing theory, and all papers will be refereed according to the high standards of Queueing Systems. Accepted papers will be published online individually, prior to the print publication of the entire volume.
