11-13 May 2026 Reykjavík (Iceland)

ECQT 2026

The European Conference on Queueing Theory (ECQT) is now a consolidated tradition for the members of the queueing theory community in Europe and abroad. After three previous editions—Ghent, Belgium (2014), Toulouse, France (2016), and Jerusalem, Israel (2018)—the 2026 conference will take place in Reykjavík, Iceland. ECQT builds on the tradition of the Madrid Conferences on Queueing Theory (MCQT), originally organized by Jesús Artalejo.

ECQT aims to be a meeting place where scientists and technicians in the field can find a discussion forum to promote research, encourage interaction and exchange ideas. The conference is open to all trends in queueing theory, including the development of the theory, methodology advances, computational aspects and applications. The spirit of the conference is to be a queueing event organized from within Europe, but attendees and submissions are welcome from all over the world.

Researchers who wish to present their work at ECQT 2026 should submit an abstract; for more details, see Instructions for authors. Participants at the conference will be given the opportunity to submit a paper to a special issue of Queueing Systems: Theory and Applications (QUESTA); for more details, see the Special Issue page.
